Parent + Child Dedication
Parent + Child Dedication Sunday is a beautiful moment we take as a church family to pray for God's blessing, protection, and purpose over the lives of our Rethink Life Kids. More than a moment though, it is a posture of worship, surrendering the most precious gift God has given us back to Him.
Our upcoming Parent + Child Dedication Service will take place on Sunday, November 15th, 2026 10:30 AM Service Only. We encourage parents to bring their friends and family as they dedicate their children to God.

Parent + Child Dedication is primarily done between birth - 5 years of age.

Throughout the New Testament, the Bible teaches that baptism is an outward expression of an inner decision made to follow Jesus. In the Bible, we see that Jesus' parents dedicated Him to the Lord (Luke 2:22-40), and then He was later baptized as an adult (Matthew 3:16-17). At ReThink Life, we allow parents to dedicate raising their children to faith until the child is old enough to make his or her own personal confession of Christ.

During service, each family is introduced and honored individually. After every family has been introduced, our pastors and Life Kids team lay hands on parents and children. We ask the congregation to join us as we pray over the children and their parents, asking God for wisdom, guidance, protection, and blessing for each family.
