It’s hard to believe that four years ago, we relaunched ReThink Life Church from the ground up after the pandemic. With no place to meet and no in-person gatherings for an entire year, what God has done since then has been nothing short of a miracle. We give Him all the glory for His faithfulness and favor every step of the way.
As we close out 2025, we want to say a heartfelt thank you for your prayers, generosity, and unwavering support. Your faithfulness allows us to stay focused on our mission—to help people know God, grow stronger, discover purpose, and make an impact.
In this year’s “ReThink Life Year in Review,” you’ll find more than numbers and milestones. You’ll see stories—real people whose lives have been forever changed by the love and hope of Jesus.
And the best part is, God is still writing HIS-story through us. Together, we’re part of something bigger—something eternal—as He continues to build His church and change lives through you.
With love and gratitude,
Pastor Rodney & Michelle Gage
You Answered God’s Call & Changed Lives Forever!
Thank you for helping our community experience God’s life-changing love this year.
Serving on the LifeKids Dream Team at Rethink Life Church has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life over the past two years. As an au pair from South Africa living in a new country, this team has given me a way to give back to God for all the blessings in my life, while also serving the community I now call home. I love spending time with the kids, sharing God’s love, and seeing the joy and curiosity in their eyes as they learn about Him. Being part of this team has not only allowed me to make a difference in their lives, but it has also deepened my own faith and strengthened my relationship with God. Beyond that, it’s given me a true sense of community, friendship, and belonging here, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve, grow, and experience God in new and beautiful ways.

During our special Sunday with Coach Denny and DeAnza Duron, Lynn Bailey joined ReThink Life Church online from her home in Kenansville—an hour away. As she watched the message, the Holy Spirit moved powerfully in her heart.
Moments later, Lynn got in her car, drove to the church, and was baptized that very day!
Our Online Church Dream Team Coordinator, Deb Marshall, shared:
“When Pastor Michelle told me last week about someone watching online who gave their life to Christ, I just knew it was Lynn. Meeting her confirmed everything in my heart. She is the reason we do what we do. Her story has inspired me, our production team, our baptism team, and our pastors.”
Lynn’s story is a reminder that God is using every camera, every click, and every act of service to reach people right where they are—and lead them into life change that lasts forever.

The Winning Family Podcast & Mentorship
God is expanding our vision far beyond the walls of ReThink Life Church. What began as The Winning Family Podcast has become a powerful model showing what’s possible when the church equips families to win at home. In 2025, we partnered with Compassion International to launch The Winning Family Movement—a nationwide initiative helping churches strengthen parents, rebuild homes, and raise a generation that loves Jesus through The Winning Family 12-Week Mentorship.
Here’s why this matters: 78% of Christian parents feel unprepared to lead their children spiritually. The church may get 1–2 hours a week, but parents have 936 weeks to shape their children’s hearts. That’s why we’re passionate about closing the discipleship gap—because when families win, the church and the world thrive.

“This program gave me the foundation I needed to parent with faith and focus.”
The Winning Family mentorship gave me a foundation to parent as a Christian. It reminded me to stay focused on Christ and not get distracted, and it provided—and still provides—practical tools to do so. For example, the family statement and goals we created have become something I go back to and review often. Honestly, I’ve even thought about taking the class again!
Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, but this program felt like one. I can look back at the notes I took, the statements I wrote, and the sticky notes I put around my house. And when I find myself drifting—maybe getting caught up in too many activities—it helps me stop, regroup, and refocus.
Another big impact for me was getting more connected at church. Before, I would just slip in and out, sit in the back, and not know anyone. During and after the mentorship, I started putting faces with names, saying hello, and building real friendships. Like Pastor Rodney says, “Iron sharpens iron.” In fact, I met another mom in the class who became a friend, and we still check in with each other.
In summary, the mentorship gave me Christ-centered leaders, guidance, a parent reference guide that keeps me anchored, meaningful friendships, and a true introduction to the church community. It built a strong foundation for me and my family.

It’s been a year since my family and I began our faith journey and found our faith family at ReThink Life Church. We gave our lives to Christ together, and it’s been a life-changing experience.
This year has brought challenges—from family members facing stage four cancer to navigating the pressures of parenting—but through it all, Christ has given us an unbreakable foundation. What once felt overwhelming, I now face with a calm that can only come from Him.
The marriage Heather and I have built with God at the center has brought peace in the midst of chaos. Our children, Arwen and Xavier, have found comfort in knowing that Jesus is always with them.
ReThink Life Church has made me comfortable being uncomfortable—learning, growing, and walking in faith as a family. Through Life Groups and community, I’ve discovered my purpose as a husband, father, and man of God.

This past June, my children and I made an unexpected move from Tampa to Lake Nona. What felt like disruption was really divine direction. In the midst of uncertainty and emotional pain, God stirred a longing in me to know His Word and find true community.
That search led me to ReThink Life Church and a Life Group led by Julie and Russell Cheatham . From our very first Sunday, their warmth and Pastor Rodney’s message spoke directly to my heart. For the first time in a long time, I felt peace—and belonging.
Through Bible study, prayer, and the love of this church family, my faith has come alive. I’ve learned to seek the Lord first, to lean on Him, and to trust Him completely.

Every legacy begins with a step of faith. In October 2023, we took that step when we purchased the land where our future church home will one day stand. That land represents more than just 4.8 acres of dirt — it’s the foundation for what God is building for future generations.
Now, we stand at another defining moment — an opportunity to finish what God started.
Why Paying Off Our Land Matters
It’s about stewardship. Paying off the land is the foundation for everything still to come. Before we can build, we must first strengthen our financial position. Eliminating our mortgage debt frees us to focus on the next phase of our vision.
It positions us for what’s next. Paying off the land increases our credibility and collateral with lenders. Traditional lenders typically loan only 2–3 times our annual giving and require a 20–30% down payment on total project costs. Paying off the land allows us to leverage its full value as the needed equity and cash down payment. It’s the key that unlocks the next phase of our vision — the opportunity to build our permanent church home.
What Happens If We Don’t Pay It Off
Carrying our current land mortgage prevents us from securing construction financing and delays the future God is calling us toward. It limits what we can do today and risks losing the momentum we’ve worked so hard to build as a portable church.
This is our moment to take ground — literally and spiritually.
Our Year-End Goal: Let’s Finish What God Started
We’re believing God for a miracle moment — to raise $650,000 by December 31 to:
•Pay off our remaining land loan
•Cover the costs of architecture, engineering, permits, and impact fees
Every gift — large or small — moves us one step closer to our permanent church home.
“Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it.”
How You Can Be Part of the Miracle
1. Pray.
Ask God what role He wants you to play in helping close the gap. Pray for His provision, unity, and faith as we take this next step together.
2. Give.
Bring your very best year-end offering on Sunday, December 14, over and above your tithe, as a joyful act of worship and faith.
